Because lung cancer has affected too many people I know, I'm participating in an event to raise money to fight lung cancer—please help!
My mother died of lung cancer in 2009, and my sister was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in December 2016. A work colleague died a few years ago, and a good friend died in September 2017. So it's personal.
Proceeds from this event will benefit LUNGevity Foundation, the leading private provider of research funding for lung cancer. LUNGevity Foundation is firmly committed to having an immediate impact on increasing quality of life and survivorship of people with lung cancer by accelerating research into early detection and more effective treatments, as well as providing community, support, and education for all those affected by the disease.
Please join me in my efforts to stop lung cancer now! You can walk with us on October 27th in NY - or donate.
LUNGevity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.
