Our team is hosting an event to raise awareness and money to fight lung and brain cancer—will you join us? May 8th 2021 at the COTC/OSU campus and Rotary Park Pavilion beginning at 9:00AM
Event day registration opens at 8:30 at the park
I started this event with the encouragement from my husband Jeff, who passed away 7 years later from Glioblastoma brian cancer, and with the help of my family as a way to remember and honor my Mom during Mothers' Day weekend. This year will be our 10th annual event and I hope you will join us either at the park or virtually via Facebook. DJ, refreshments, raffles and fundraising awards will be plentiful. Course is 1.5 or 3 mile walk and is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Bring the family to celebrate Mothers ’ Day by making a difference! Proceeds from this event will benefit LUNGevity Foundation, the leading private provider of research funding for lung cancer. We're making a personal commitment to help them raise money to support their vital work—in memory of my Mom - Jean Mellars. Will you please help us?
