Once again, I'm raising money to fight lung cancer — would you help?
At the end of October, I'll be walking with lots of people, in an event to benefit the LUNGevity Foundation. LUNGevity is the leading private provider of research funding for lung cancer, and they are firmly committed to having an immediate impact on increasing quality of life and survivorship of people with lung cancer by accelerating research into early detection and more effective treatments, as well as providing community, support, and education for all those affected by the disease.
My mother died of lung cancer more than 10 years ago. Friends and colleagues have died of lung cancer. And my dear sweet baby sister, Pinky, was diagnosed with a stage IV cancer almost three years ago.
I deeply appreciate any help you can provide.
