You don’t need to take on caregiving alone.
Find guidance, hope, and community at COPE Summit.

June 25-26, 2021

This virtual conference gathers caregivers from across the country to give them the tools to better manage and navigate their loved one’s care while learning about self-care and the caregiving community.

Attendees at past HOPE Summit
Sessions will include panel discussions moderated by oncology navigators, peer-to-peer Q&As, and expert-led sessions on topics important to caregiving:

  • Creating your caregiving plan
  • Balancing caregiving and work
  • Avoiding caregiver burnout
  • And so much more!

This event, geared toward both new and experienced caregivers, offers unique opportunities to:

  • Connect with others who share common experiences through networking and meetups
  • Share your caregiving story and hear from others
  • Build your community of fellow caregivers

Register by May 20 to receive a Welcome Packet including t-shirt before the conference! (US addresses only.)

The COPE Summit is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Caregivers are encouraged to attend some sessions alone, giving them the opportunity to be open without the burden of being “brave” for their loved ones.

HOPE Summit, a companion conference specifically for survivors, will be held May 21-22. Also mark your calendar for the International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference, a virtual educational conference coming this summer.

Why Virtual?

While we would love to be able to gather in person, see each other’s faces, and give hugs to all our lung cancer family, it was necessary for this year’s HOPE Summit to be virtual.

First and foremost, the safety and health of our community is our greatest concern. The CDC currently recommends against non-essential travel and large gatherings to ensure the safety and health of ourselves and others. Many of our expert speakers are also under strict travel restrictions from their hospitals and institutions. Finally, due to local laws and regulations, venues are not accepting group conferences of our size. In order to maintain the highest quality and value of the event, we determined a virtual format would be the best option.

We’re excited to host events like HOPE Summit in person in the future, as soon as we can safely do so.
