How to Register
As an Official Charity Partner, LUNGevity has a limited number of guaranteed entries available for the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
1. Race Entry with Fundraising [Pre-Drawing] - $1,250 Fundraising Minimum - CLOSED
Available now until February 18, 2021
Bypass the drawing and sign up with Team LUNGevity to guarantee your race entry. Participants are responsible for paying their own registration fee through the Bank of America Chicago Marathon website, and can request reimbursement if they raise a total of $2,250 or more.
2. Race Entry with Fundraising [Post-Drawing] - $1,750 Fundraising Minimum - CLOSED
Available until April 23, 2021, or sold out
Take your chances on the drawing and sign up with Team LUNGevity after selections have been made. Participants are responsible for paying their own registration fee through the Bank of America Chicago Marathon website, and can request reimbursement if they raise a total of $2,750 or more.
3. Fundraising Only: $500 Fundraising Minimum
Available now until October 9, 2021
Secure your own entry (through the drawing or other guaranteed entry type) and sign up with Team LUNGevity at any time. This is a great option for those who qualify for guaranteed entry as a legacy runner, time qualifier, or deferral from 2020.

You are responsible for raising your fundraising minimum on or before October 31, 2021. If you have not met the requirement, we will contact you before charging the difference between your fundraising total and the fundraising minimum to your credit card. No charges will be made at the time of registration.
Please note that guaranteed charity entries cannot be deferred, and donations will not be refundable if the runner does not participate in the marathon.
NEW FOR 2021: Refundable booking
Individuals who are concerned they may not be able to participate in the 2021 event can pay an additional service fee for a 100% refund of the entry fee and additional products paid by the participant during the registration process.
If it is determined, for reasons outside of the event's control, that the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon cannot take place, registered participants will have the option to receive a partial refund for their 2021 entry or the opportunity to defer their place to the 2022 event and receive a discount on their 2022 entry fee.
